How To Setup Google Apps Mail In Samsung or Android Phones

First, log-in to your Gmail account, and go to ‘Settings’ in the top right. The mail setting for POP and IMAP is similar. If you have no idea which to use, we recommend IMAP. Below is a guide for IMAP on Android phones.

Then double check that the IMAP or POP setting is enabled.

Go to your mobile phone and continue with mail setting.

Outgoing mail server, IMAP setting.

For synchronization frequency, the shortest time is every five minutes, while the longest is unlimited. By increasing sync time and activating the option to ‘automatically download attachments when connected to wifi’, you can greatly reduce data and bandwidth usage.

Users can delete an email account by clicking the Settings button in the bottom right.

Port: 995

smtp.gmail.com
Use Authentication: Yes
Port for TLS/STARTTLS: 587
Port for SSL: 465
